I think the TC2000 is a stock model number and any deviations of features throw into a slightly different model number. Earlier this year I bought a 2001 BB advertised as a TC2000 from a school system on GovDeals. When I went to pick it up, the title had TCFE7200S and had a Blue Bird label inside which had TC FE 7200 for the model number. Well all of that through the insurance company and the DMV into a state of total confusion. Ins wanted more documentation from the DMV and the DMV listed it with “School Bus” for the model instead.
The bus I bought has a few different features such as air ride seat, high roof, and a two-piece windshield instead of stock four piece. I don’t know but maybe the trans is an upgrade also. I would have liked to have the barn doors and undercarriage storage among other things, like yours. Post some pictures of the bus when you can.
