When you first bought your bus...

https://youtu.be/kK4bRWMM5qE

What was the oddest thing you found inside or coolest thing you learned when you first bought your bus or van?

It seems that every generation of kid has always used busses to discard bubble gum! I found so much of it when i first got my bus. Prior to me buying it, it was used for storage buy someone that planned on living in it. It was disgusting, it was basically hording overflow. It smelled like cats and there was everything from metal pipe to comforters and antiques.

Coolest thing i discovered was that my bus has a key hole on the outside to open and lock the door. Also there was a small safe under the front passenger seat that i plan to lock my pistol in. Also please to find a 3 camera security system with controll unit. I plan to sell.... wonder what i can get for it?

Haha that is awesome. I would say opening the door for the first time was pretty awesome.

Aluminum was, by far, the greatest discovery we've made so far. It takes quite a bit of prep out of the equation as we don't have to worry about rust treatment or preventative. Also, that our bus builder used more screws than rivets was a lovely surprise.

I took the padding off of the drivers seat and I found a pin that had been placed in the middle of the drivers seat. lol

I also found about 15-20 pennies, kids these days have no value for money. lol

Found decades-old weed in my first bus.

Found a flash drive with some kids' rap video in one-

Mostly just candy wrappers and stuff.

But found some nuclear safety info in Kubla's Thomas nuke plant bus.

Nothing interesting inside the bus. Have a key and handle on the outside, but key doesnt work. I did have a diesel coolant heater mounted underneath my bus that I wasn't expecting. I asked about it when i got there to pick it up and the surplus guy went to ask a worker and I overheard him say they were supposed to take that off because it's worth a few grand.
