Where do YOU shop?

My focus is a 20-26' boxtruck>stepvan>shuttle bus. I'm looking to remain in a very urban area with alot of places any delivery/work vehicle can blend into.

I'm familiar with FBook's marketplace, CList, ComTruckTrader and Ebay - My question is, are there other/additional sites I should be looking at? Where do YOU go when looking at/for new builds*?

*S of mason-dixon line, I'm looking at 5-10yrs of living in the vehicle so the under-carriage needs to be salt/corrosion free.

Thanks in advance

Public Surplus and Govdeals are the two government auction sites I stalked for a while before deciding to go with a "reseller" dealer, who had bought my bus through Public Surplus. Both have a wide selection of buses and other vehicles around the country. Both also can filter for different types of buses.

Public Surplus looks to be a great site, govdeals kinda got me excited when I saw the "tanks" category... talk about a letdown. That would have been one hell of a conversion but not so great for stealth camping in the city.

Stealth in the city...?
I think you want a mechanically sound vehicle. You're gonna wanna be mobile not "but it won't start, so I can't move it..."

Budget rental cars has a truck division -- their box trucks are well maintained and less abused then you'd think they would be. If the rental truck has all your personal stuff in it you drive pretty gently...

Harder to find but crew cab box trucks -- more likely to have a pass-through door from the box to the cab. Of course you can always make a pass-through door however you want. You don't want to be able to be locked inside your truck by a prankster...

Am I looking in the wrong spot?

Just went to the Budget(Avis) sales site and found a bunch of pickup trucks and vans but no box trucks or shuttle buses.

You have a direct link to share?

They were just one suggestion --
https://www.budgettruck.com/buytrucks

What I wouldn't do is buy a truck from "2 guyz and a truck" moving company cause you know that trucks been driven more than it's been maintained...
