Which bus to buy? 1997 bluebird vs 2005 microbird?

Debating between these two....


Option 1: 1997 BlueBird, 7.3L International Diesel engine, 90k kms, 25 ft, 9000$ CAD


- potentially bigger, more gas mileage... bigger chassis.... harder to park? more expensive to repair????




Option 2: 2005 microbird ford e450, 7.3L powerstroke diesel engine, 86k kms, 22 ft, 18000$ CAD



I've heard that its better to buy a bus that is pre-2004 due to emissions issues. What would you do???


I do not want something that will break down. I plan to live in it for 4 months of the year.
