Why I haven't been making any progress on my bus.

During the summer most of my weekends are taking up with racing SAAC and SCCA events and going to car shows around the midwest. But two weeks ago I found a poor little car that really needed my help. A 1966 MG Midget Mk II had been left in an open garage without attention for two years (and in Iowa that is a bad thing in the winter). So I took it home and started work on it.

Now I've pretty much got it completed and I can have fun driving it and turn my attention back to ever evolving and never done skoolie.

WOW! That's really nice! Don't show it to your bus though, it might get jealous of you kissing your toad & having it turn into a princess!

How much restoration was needed on it, or did it just need a really good cleaning & detailing? It's hard to see in the "before" picture other than the accumulated crud of unprotected time, but the "after" pictures look great!

NICE RIDE!

Really, really nice! I had a FIAT 124 that I started to do that with...only it fell apart before I could accomplish much other than to drive around like a maniac at 19 years old... Fortunately, the top end on it was 95. It got there fast, though!

It looks like you are keeping it original inside. That's nice. Cars back then were less duded-up, and simpler, too. Pretty little MG!
