Will work for Mentorship
Hi! I wasn’t sure where to post this but here goes. So I haven’t been interested for a long time and either doing a tiny house, RV, or travel trailer to travel in which is how I came across schoolies. I have always wanted to see one up close and personal and learn a little bit more about what it takes to actually make one your own. I have been reading through a lot of the forums and I’ve been pinning and looking through videos of tons of Skoolies. I have an idea of what I want though I am still confused on the whole motor types thing. I have read a lot and still don’t get what is best for that. I would love to get the chance to help someone on their build in order to learn a little bit more about what needs to be done while getting hands-on experience doing it before I make the leap to buy one of my own. My fiancé says he would be down to getting one once we get initially settled for trips and things. I am not a professional carpenter or anything but I am handy and learn quick. I minored in Art studio(sculpture across a bunch of different materials, painting, etc and have had some of my work in local or school exhibits) in college, have built my own bed frame and built a chair from a old trunk so I do enjoy a good creative or handy project. I am from Connecticut so if there’s anyone in the area that would be willing to teach me a few things in exchange for help on their build let me know. I currently work in a school so the summer time would probably be best for me to hop in and help but I can always work it out with you to see what can work. Thanks!
