You guys with trailer hitches....

How do you keep diesel soot off whatever you're towing?
I want to pull my boat... But I don't think the white hull is going to be happy with me!

And before any of you purists start up... It's not beached on sand! It's pulled up on a submerged rubber horse stall blanket.

My tail pipe comes out side just in front of the rear axle so it's not a problem when I tow, but if I did have that problem I would look for a tip to redirect either more down or left or right.

The exhaust on my bus appears to have been redone at some point. It exits the driver's side, in front of the drive tire.

Took a short piece of stack off the top an old straight truck exhaust, cut a short piece off the end of bus and welded it back on on a 45* angle. Seems to have worked, towed a trailer twice now with a white and a yellow ATV on two different occasions...no soot that we noticed.
