That makes sense, what a great idea! We sold our house last year and bought another one further into the country with more room to build a bigger shop, so our bus hasn't gotten much love this past year but at least it stays in my new climate controlled shop now! So what better time to get some bugs worked out and give her some love.

I havent gotten the wheel on yet.. I largely didnt drive that bus over the past year.. when covid hit my DEV bus became the goto as a mobile office / mobile dining room so I could continue to eat out.. I have never been a homebody and never coomk at home. so when the "stay home all the time" came along.. I simply spend alot of time in my bus so I could get take-out hot N fresh (pizza delivery got old real quick and doordash was always cold).. the Red bus got driven evry few weeks just to keep it going. I really shouldve taken the time to put the new performance injectors in and the turbo wheel but I havent yet...

Yessir a 444e! I went ahead and put the 250 on with the same EFRC you used. I will take it out this weekend and see how it pulls. I did notice on some of your posts they used a smaller turbo, makes sense for getting that low end torque to come on early. Have you put the WW2 on there yet? Wouldn’t that help it spool faster? I spend more time watching my EGT than my Speedo most of the the time haha! Going to replace all of the brake calipers next week, tired of the dragging brakes.

hey!! I cant remember are you a 444E or a 466E? the EFRC seems to be the magic change.. the HP number needs to match it but justr changing the HP makes no difference.. im running the 250 in my red bus with my ally 1000.. the biggest thing is that the 250 setting expects the turbo to spool up faster.. the 250 actually used a SMALLER turbo so it could get quick spool at low RPM.. so my EGTs can get a bit high if not careful but I watch them on the Pyro gauge and it otherwise has worked perfect!

Hey Chris I hope this past year and new year are treating you well! Tried to shoot you a PM but your box is full.

I was curious if you ever found a list showing the relationship of the EFRC/HP settings? I am going to likely do a EBPV delete and muffler delete on my bus in the very near future, wanted to see what you thought about the 250HP setting? Do you still recommend it for others? My bus has the Allison 2000 so it should be OK with that bump. It currently is running the 210 setting, although I think I need to replace some of the CAC boots and such, not getting quite the boost it should these days. Will replace those when I do the EBPV delete.

Thanks again for all of your help in the past! you are still to this day a common topic when I am telling anyone about my bus modifications!
