Hello. Finally finished my bus interior. Now working on my off-grid solar install. Hope to have everything done in the next couple months. If you care to share an email, I can send you a link to my build log photos that are on Google Drive. My email is ken4julie at the google thing. By the way... my name is Ken.

My car is just under 2 tons. Most is right above the axle. To offset the weight behind the rear axle, I have extended the front bumper 16" with my spare in the middle, my house batteries (4) on the right, and my heavy tools, jacks, etc in the left compartment. I was afraid the front might feel light when the car is onboard, but its not.

Hello. Sorry did not reply sooner. What kind of weight distribution does your bus have when loaded with your car? I am curious because my bus will have about 2-3000 lbs behind the rear axle, and I am concerned about handling. I believe it can handle it, but have not come across any discussion of weight distribution on the forums. Thanks! Ken

Hello. Was your bus at MacDill AFB earlier this year? A friend of mine sent me a picture while he was TDY there after I told him I was converting a school bus into a tiny home. I recently retired from the Air Force and plan to full time in my bus starting next year. I would be interested in communicating with you about your bus conversion. Thanks and have a great day!
