I love my bus. I’ve had no problems. I contacted user PDX-Janel. She bought the same bus from the same ppl. She and friend Derrick have driven 10,000 miles so far. They picked up their bus last spring and drove to Oregon with side trips on the way.
I found minimal rust inside. Underneath had been factory under coated. A few places started to rust under the undercoating, which prob then accelerated the oxidation process.
They must use salt on the roads in DC area. Nothing major. A couple of places, under bus. Strong metal everywhere inside.The wood floor was wet. Years of emergency door not closing properly and leaky emergency exits in roof. I don’t see an option for sending pics on the message but I’ll try.
I looked on the loudoun county schools website. It says they have 800 busses and drive 7.5 million mile per year. The task of getting kids to school is a major operation. They either do pretty well with maintenance, or it’s a cluster@#$&.
