I have a 1995 Thomas rear pusher with a cat 3116, and an Allison md3060 with a digital 5 speed shifter. Out of nowhere when I cranked the bus my shifter read ( 0 on service mode 0). There were no codes only d1. After blinking for a while the screen will go out but the do not shift light stays on and I can not put it in gear. The bus starts fine, even starts with the shifter removed. What do you think my problem is, and how would it act if one of the old emergency exit or stop sign sensors activates somehow?

I just replaced the cardboard type interior insulation like what was in there. Since my conversion is done I will have to do something underneath the back.

I haven't checked any of that insulation yet. I know there is some crazy fireproof stuff in there that turns into clay when I have to drill through it. I will be insulating that area in 2 ways:
    - I will first fill the area between the teo metal plates with good foam. Not Great Stuff, but the foam I will be using all over the bus. Foam-it Green.
    - Lastly, I will have some for the pink foam board insulation placed on top inside the bus, and down the wall where the big rear seat used to be.

I have also been considering just doing foam all over in the bedroom, including the floors. It's pretty expensive though.

Where did you get the insulation between your engine and the back of the bus? my rear area gets very warm because that was missing. I was also thinking about fabricating something out of welders blanket.
