Hope you’ve been well! Sorry to ping you again…I’m working with a good old school diesel mechanic (2007 Thomas C2 with MBE906), and I asked him about doing the conversion to an electric fuel pump as my bus won’t ever start after it sits for more than 2 weeks. Also, running through all the fuel system (check valves, etc) you recommended, as the local Detroit Diesel just wanted to start replacing stuff until the problem went away. Can you tell me what Mallory electric pump you used and can the fuel pump be installed close to the tank (inline, other) and blank off the mechanical pump as some others have recommended?

I’m trying to find the right specs (PSI, GPH) and the right type of pump to make this swap clear for a skilled mechanic as this is beyond my knowledge. He might know these answers, but you’ve know this engine better than anyone I’ve met. Just trying to get this bus reliable.
