Hey Cadillackkid, I just read one of comments on a post titled, "T444e Throttle Gas Pedal / Electrical Problem Question "and you're the first person to make the most sense to me. I bought a bus from someone over a year ago and within a few hours the peddle stopped engaging (freaking scary experience). I live in an area where nobody seems to work on these buses and so it's basically sitting because I'm afraid to drive it around like this. I just noticed the cable attached to the pedal with a set of purple wires hanging out. Could you help/guide me on ho I should start diagnosing my issue? I thought of just ordering the whole assembly as a first step, but not even sure where I could do that. It's a diesel pusher, 2001 International. Thanks for any help you might be able to provide.
Cadillackid:there is sadly no part number stamped anywhere on my fan.i found a dislodged inner belt from dual pulley that drives the fan and almost broken in half so I wonder if this belt got tangled in the fan shroud and tore the blades.the clutch feels smooth and no play so I think that is good. I saw a fan version same as my but the center hole would need to be elongated out as shown on mine to fit over hub.
