Hey Cadillackid! Really need your help to fix my MBE906 C2 losing prime and fine a good way to prime it on the road. Any chance you would be up for a chat?

That makes sense, what a great idea! We sold our house last year and bought another one further into the country with more room to build a bigger shop, so our bus hasn't gotten much love this past year but at least it stays in my new climate controlled shop now! So what better time to get some bugs worked out and give her some love.

Yessir a 444e! I went ahead and put the 250 on with the same EFRC you used. I will take it out this weekend and see how it pulls. I did notice on some of your posts they used a smaller turbo, makes sense for getting that low end torque to come on early. Have you put the WW2 on there yet? Wouldn’t that help it spool faster? I spend more time watching my EGT than my Speedo most of the the time haha! Going to replace all of the brake calipers next week, tired of the dragging brakes.

Hey Chris I hope this past year and new year are treating you well! Tried to shoot you a PM but your box is full.

I was curious if you ever found a list showing the relationship of the EFRC/HP settings? I am going to likely do a EBPV delete and muffler delete on my bus in the very near future, wanted to see what you thought about the 250HP setting? Do you still recommend it for others? My bus has the Allison 2000 so it should be OK with that bump. It currently is running the 210 setting, although I think I need to replace some of the CAC boots and such, not getting quite the boost it should these days. Will replace those when I do the EBPV delete.

Thanks again for all of your help in the past! you are still to this day a common topic when I am telling anyone about my bus modifications!

    Hi,

It seems that you're the Guru on these Internationals. I'm just getting into it, but I'd like to get good.

How did you get the ultimate servicemaxx? Is there somewhere I can torrent it or download it and use a keygen? I'm assuming I can't just buy it.

I also would love to ask some questions, if you have time.

    Thanks!
    -Kerry

Hey Christopher. Jeremy here, working on a 2001 Thomas 40' RE. The bus originally had 3 ceiling mounted AC units in it, and I've removed the rear two (the rear one wasn't cooling anymore, but the front and mid units do). I'd like to relocate the front unit and place it just behind the front passenger wheel well under a bench and duct it either out the front or up behind the seat or both. I've got a few questions if you don't mind:

    - Underneath the bus are two identical skirt condensers. It makes sense that only one would be needed, how do I determine which one to keep?

    - Similar question regarding the two compressors mounted on top of the engine. Keep one? Change belt length to accommodate deleting one?

    - What is the most effective way to enclose / duct the relocated unit?

Thank you for sharing your expertise if you have the time. Jeremy D

Vehicle is a international 4300LP ambulance, so the ambulance upfitter ends up doing a LOT to the vehicle. It's their 2001 testing and certification label that calls out 190hp. So, I don't know if they actually de-rated it, or the guy doing the certification label was lazy / made a mistake. To be fair, the certification plaque seems to mostly be about testing / certifying the electrical system's ability to deliver current over a 1hr test so the hp rating engine wouldn't matter so long as it can spin the alternator at the spec rpm.

Trans is a Allison 3060, so no issue there. That is a big reason I ended up with this truck. We use it to pull a 30' enclosed trailer to the races and sleep in the ambulance.

Wondering if there is any way to tell what HP a DT466E (2001 year) is programmed to? The plaque on my engine is 230hp/620tq which I believe is the top spec for a ST engine. However, I also have a plaque on the body from the builder that says 195hp which makes me wonder if it was de-rated? Feels under-powered to me, but then again that could just be me. I'm sure the dealer could tell me, but I shudder to think what they'd charge just to hook up so I was hoping maybe there was another way?
