Hey there eastcoastcb , Jolly Roger Bus 223 told me to reach out to you as you were the Florida Guru Skoolie. I'm a newbie and I recently moved to Florida (2 years ago) in West Palm and have had restaurants for years. I was looking to retire but after a year I am bored as heck. I was going to get back into restaurants down here and then the Pandemic hit. IMHO, it will change the landscape of eating out for a long time. That's when the idea of a food truck came into mind, but of course I need to be different and want to do a food Bus. Anyway, I know nothing about them. In my Newbie Post, I mentioned I was a Marine and Jolly Roger Bus jumped on my post (as he was a jar head too) to tell me to reach out to you for some info. I really don't know if you have time or some info for me but anything would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
Hi EastCoast CB: just checking on you brother. How are you and the wife dealing with the Coronavirus? I am still working full time as my company services security equipment for banks and retail sites.i wash my hands so much that my skin feels like a baby’s butt. Anyways just checking on you. Michael Troitino in Sanford.
Hey man thanks for replying to my post. I see you are on almost every forum offering knowledgeable advice and tips most of which I have personally found very helpful but I have a question if you do not mind.
I’m torn between using overlapping strips of Eternabond across the roof seams or doing what you suggested. Originally I was going to use 5 gal of Henry’s enviro white but after reading the forums and your advice I am second guessing and looking into just dealing and painting vs using Elastomeric. What would you suggest I should do?
Not sure what you thanked me for, but You're welcome! Too bad the note doesn't link to the post, somehow? Anyhoo:
I noticed earlier that you're soliciting work on busses.
I was planning on hitting FL this winter in mine, but its not happening.
Long story short, I'm stuck in the hospital up here until late November, and its unlikely I'll be medically cleared to do a long roadtrip for awhile.
If/when I'm able to get out on the road, maybe we can hook up for you to do some inside work on my bus if you're still available? Unfortunately, I have no idea when I'm going to be ready.
Good part is my bus is ready to rock road wise whenever I can get back into it...
Good day

I'm taking this route hopefully, it'll reach you. Did you ever get the private msg I sent you? If not, I'm not surprised. Accidentally deleted the thread. Can you please get in contact with me? Thanks.
As far as I can see from the video she sent me of it starting the gear shift reads R, N, D, 3, 2, 1,. I can't actually see the 3 but that is my guess. As soon as she lets me know for sure I will let you know.
