Hey folks, I've got 2 Gilligs w/ 3208's (what the 1160 became). Two things to watch for. The Throttle shaft seals can go bad on this motor. it will leak fuel into the valley and suck air when running, resulting in NO power and a massive white cloud. Also may not start without using the manual pump. Pretty easy fix, but it may get you stranded. There is a Wanderlodge group that has repair instructions and part list. Second problem I had recently was a lack of power that was somewhat intermittent. No white smoke (sucking air) or black smoke (plugged air filter). There were times I could only go 15 mph. I added a fuel pump near the tank; can't remember model but it's used on ThermoCool units and is rated to lift up to 10 feet. Other common units need to be below the tank to maintain prime. Problem solved. Again thanks to the Wanderlodge folks!! Mine are 1980 w/ Allison MT643, other 1975 w/ RoadRanger 10 speed. Enjoy!
