Hi i have a 1981 blue bird dt466t just here for suggestions...what i bought my bus 7 years ago in Wa state and 5 years ago loaded it up with all i own and towed my Tahoe on dolly all the way to Florida no issues minus clogged fuel filter along the way..it averaged 10MPG I am certain on this,,perhaps as much as 12 and i was hauling easily10K..it is slow 62 MPH 4spd auto...so my question is,,considering the differential is geared low as all are...is it worth a few grand to install a 6spd with over drive giving me more top end?
