does anyone else live in their bus?

hello everyone, here I am in north Dakota between Fargo and wapeton. I bought this bus, a 48 passenger 1966 IHC, in april 2015, been living in it since. in spirit, it belonged to a couple who evidently cared very much for this bus. they must have used it for camping, road trips, etc. the man put a new engine in and with it, propane tanks. he died around 2003 as far as I can tell and the bus was left for seven years at least, eventually evolving into a storage unit. Through a chain of friends, met the bus last march, and a month later bought it to be my home.
I have already made leaps of improvements, with many more to come. I am a 24 year old woman searching for all the inspiration I can get.

first off welcome!

I so not live in my bus yet, but...

Nice looking bus.

Carpenter body buses were some of the best ones built at the time your bus was built.

Be very careful with your windshields. Those Carpenter curved glass windshields were used for a lot of years but the last time was in the early '70's. I don't know where you would find replacements this late in the day.

The good thing is flat glass windshields were also offered so you can, with a lot of work, change from curved to flat glass. And flat glass is available at any glass shop that works on auto glass.

Good luck and happy trails!

Welcome.

I really like the front of your bus.

I live in my bus shed full time.
