Attaching a Futon to flooring?

I recently acquired a nice futon for my bus that Id like to use. It has kind of plastic four sided/square like feet that can be screwed off the bottom. Does anyone have any suggestions of how to attach this couch to the floor? Or topics with how others have?

Thanks in advance

If they screw off for leveling purposes I don't see why an oven or other appliance anti tip bracket won't work.

You definitely want it well secured!!

Post a pic of one of the feet. That may help us come up with ideas.

I've been mulling that one over myself. With a futon in a bus, you have a choice of either figuring out how to fasten it down in either of two places easily, or waste a lot of space behind the futon because of the way those things usually fold down. I'm up for any good ideas.

I haven't been around much lately, but I found a way to do it for the feet of the futon just recently. they're square peg legs about as thick as a fence post, so I bought two post base brackets for the front legs to sit in, screwed them to the floor and they fit perfectly. https://images.lowes.ca/img/p400/159...5002323_ca.jpg

Now I just need to build some sort of quick release mechanism to hold the futon to the floor since it sits in the base unattached. This way, I can lift it out of the base and lay it flat as a bed, when not in couch mode.

I bought these for my ramp. An appropriate length would work for your app.

Bore a hole thru the bracket and the leg, and use a cotter pin to secure?
