My bus being front engine is loud too. I need new engine cover insulation. No way to have a casual conversation. The straight-pipe does not make it louder.

Straight pipe!

I've put about 125 miles on it so far. Noticable? Sounds better, seems to breath better, longer legs, less effort to drive along.

Emergency exits, windows, vents on roof, rear door, etc. all have a switch to cause buzzing. Disconnect it.

good drivetrain.. My 5.9 5 speed will cruise 55-60 all day but that's it. The config you describe will do 70-75 all day.
