Re: Blank Slate

Thanks for clarifying on my mystery buttons. I'm going to test those functions next time I start it up.

Regarding the platform, I guess 5-6'...

Re: Blank Slate

New question: in the last pic above, you see a louvered air intake just behind the wheel-well. Right now the whistle coming from that general area is louder than any noise coming from the engine. ...

Re: Blank Slate

Hey Jazty, here are some pics of the wheel wells. It looks like you basically are looking at the underside of the cab floor. Front and back tires are both 255/70 R22.5. Is the tire size in that...

Re: Blank Slate

Funny you say that Bubb. I spotted a pic of a bumper platform a couple days ago (on this site of course), and have been cultivating that idea ever since. Your suggestion just gives me more...

Re: "...oh black water, keep on rollin..."

Just saw your tank replacement posts gb. Incorporating a fernco coupling on drain connections, to prevent future damage due to vibration, makes a lot of sense. Has anyone else tried, or seen a need...

Re: "...oh black water, keep on rollin..."

Found the attached diagram. Looks like from this and from what gb is saying, you actually DON'T want a trap under an RV toilet. I would've thought the smell emanating from a straight drop would be a...

"...oh black water, keep on rollin..."

First, did you get the Doobie Brothers reference in the title of the post? Is the song stuck in your head now? Your welcome.

Re: Blank Slate

First, I never provided our bus location: It splits time between New Market & Damascus, MD. Anyone in the area?

Second, too all those, like me, who prefer pics over words,

I intend to spend...

Re: Blank Slate

Hmmm. Very interesting ol trunt. I was concerned about venting it properly, but had no idea the right way was to duct out the exhaust. I may have to rethink this and start looking under the bus...

Re: Blank Slate

Thank you Jazty, for such a coherent response. I no longer even care what's behind those panels. I will be insulating OVER them now.

With confidence, I can promise that will NOT be my last...

Re: Blank Slate

I've been kicking around the idea of drilling small holes in the inner layers of the walls below windows, and blowing in polystyrene balls (bean bag filler). This would solve my problem of not...

Re: Blank Slate

I will gladly take some pics around the wheel wells, but I may not see it in daylight until next weekend though.
I guessed wrong in my last post: it's a 2001. Also was a 19 passenger. The lift...
