From what little bit I've seen the 6V batteries are about the same price as the 12V batteries. 100AH about $200, 200AH about $400.

You would would have twice as many 6V batteries to equal the same...

What are the pluses/minuses for 6v compared to 12v batteries?

2 6v batteries (200 AH ea) ran in series VS
2 12v batteries (200 AH ea) ran in parallel

Both 12 volt 400 AH systems.

The floor is not flat. It has wheel wells on it.
