I've got a bus I am interested in and am thinking I should try and find a local shop willing to inspect it for me before I bid. I will need to make it ~1,200 miles home before getting parked for...

Rereading my original post I see I was unclear. In my head I was thinking RV insurance, not commercial vehicle insurance, when I simply stated "insurance".

Thank you for that little bit of...

Is insurance difficult because it is a conversion, a bus, or as school bus?

Just wondering if what the bus started off life as matters?

For example is it easier to insure a converted bloodmobile, mobile vet, or other non-school bus than a school bus?

Or is the fact...

Question about tile-work and level.

First Tile-work:

I do like tile as a finish material and have done fair bit of it in my home. But there are places where I have not (or had to reinforce), such as floorings, due to there being too...

Anyone willing to give a feedback on a bus?

There is a bus that I am interested in, but I would rather not go posting it all over the internet. I am sure if one is looking for a bus they have seen it, still the less attention the better it may...

I guess that is where I get confused, most people here say they need to have the skoolie noted as an RV (registration or title) before most companies will insure it as an RV.

But to register it...

So, it could be the Cummins 8.3, but so I am clear (I can be dense) there wasn't a 6.6L (CAT or otherwise) engine offered in 2000.

I will look and see if any shot shows the transmission; as I...

Which engine should this bus have?

A bus recently caught my eye. Well several have.

It is a 2000 Thomas transit style RE, from the looks of it probably the commercial variant derived from a school bus, but as far as I can tell they...

It seems the general thought is basically always to get pre-emissions if available. Which it still is for now.
