Mine would start quickly without glowing the plugs but not when the crankshaft position sensor acted up. If I walked away and came back she flashed right up.

I suspect this truck still needs a crankshaft...

I suspect this truck still needs a crankshaft position sensor to correct this problem. My 1996 4700 7.3 was intermittent, temperature sensitive and had no code.
