Re: brake pad and caliper replacement

The only bolts I see are the 4 nuts holding the entire back plate and hub assembly on. The only thing I see on the caliper itself is the bleed nut.

Re: Got Fuel? I don't

I last ran my 8.2 DD this past May and June when it went for its inspection and then to its new driveway home, I went to start it this week and she turns over but no fire, like it is not getting...

Re: ebay doesn't make any sence....

The best I ever saw on Ebay, aside from the cheese sandwich, were gift cards selling for more than they were worth. I think they were $100 gift cards for HD and they winning bid was $105 or...

Re: air conditioners in windows

That is an awesome job. I will probably end up building a cabinet to house the AC and vent to an outside window like that. I just hope my light fixture isn't in the way...

Of course our very...

Maine titling and registration

My neighbor was telling me about titling and registering RV's in Maine. I guess it is cheaper and you do not need any kind of inspection. You can do it all online and over the phone. With trailers...

I saw Experience's post on the insurance thread and was wondering what different approaches people have taken to installing air conditioners. That pic had a temp one that obviously came out while...

Re: Scam The Scammer

I keep winning the UK National Lottery and drag them along for some laughs. Once you tell them you are flying over there with your girlfriend who is a kick-boxing lawyer they usually stop...

Re: GPSs, How many of you use them?

Well there ya go. So if you buy the specific toy and appropriate adapters...I spent $120 for the USB GPS antannae and Streets and Trips as a package deal, so if you already have the laptop. Or you...

Re: GPSs, How many of you use them?

I too use the USB GPS antannae with Streets and Trips on the laptop. It works great on the newer laptops, our 2002 Gateway kept crashing while trying to run S&Ts. The nice thing about the laptop is...

Re: Painting Roof...suggestions?

I followed the advice that a lot of people here gave me. I rollered the roof and sprayed the sides. I just used white rustoleum. Took about 1 1/2 gallons for the roof and then another 1 1/2...

Re: Doesn't anyone know how to replace the plastic window clips?

What about finding your local bus yard and asking them? I notice those sort of places don't get mentioned here for some reason. Though if I had a problem one of the first places I go is one of my...

Re: 8.2L Detroit Deisel.

Ahh, many thanks. Probably more money than I, or the wife is willing to let me, throw at it. It runs like a honey now, why mess with success?

Re: Lets start planning a gathering for 2008!

I don't know, diesel this morning was $3.39 a gallon. It almost broke the bank filling up the car. I can't wait til I have to fuel up the bus again.

I wish I had a turbo-charged one. Does anyone know if the turbo can be purchased and added to a non-turbo one?

Re: Lets start planning a gathering for 2008!

Wow, further than I thought at 1300 miles one way, so 270 gallons puts us around $900.

Doable, so we would probably be in, depends on dates selected. We are amiable to roughing it or living it...

Re: Skoolie Idea

I like the idea of the camper trailer too. As far as refinishing them, metal ones can just be painted. The fiberglass ones can be repainted but sometimes need to have a new gel coat applied. All...
