first of do not use feral couplings to patch brake lines, this is actually illigal. the amount of preasure in a power brake system can exceed 1000-3000 psi at the cylinders and those feral couplings...

I got somethin kinda like that and it works great with my gas engine, i just try to start the motor as soon as it kicks off so the battery dosnt stay discharged. i run my whole bus through it

Make sure the axels, hubs are good, hear in southern california they are hard to find, i had to go to tijuana to find mine. Also look into brake parts these are gunna cost a fortune, mine the wheel...

What i do, at least when my big fan is broke is take a big push broom and dip it in paint then i hold it up while someone drives the bus back and forth
