I would wonder if your speedometer is correct. I would be singing happy days if I could get 10 m.p.g. and leave the gears alone. If you want more m.p.g. you should be look'n a diesel powered bus....

Mr. Experience couldn't have said it better, I did the conversion from carb to injection and it ain't for no beginner. I must say that I had a big advantage with access to a pile of gm truck...

That unit should be avoided. 466E and the E is for electric control injector pump , Allison Auto, leak'n head and rear seal, no I think I would avoid this like a S.T.D.

I hear the part about diesel, too much money for a gas burner a old two stroke Detroit would look better in that hole than a gas guzzler. The one in there looks like a 500 something Intertrashnal.
