Re: No brakes! Bugger!

Re: air brake failure

I wanted to move the bus for Halloween last year, so I fired it up, and headed on down the road. Didn't check the brakes. :(
When I got to the end of the road, guess what happened. Yup, nothing....

Help with Utah registration?

I am coming from Michigan, where the inspection was pretty lax. No emissions, basically only checked for operation of lights, and that the school bus stuff was removed. Started, stopped, okay, have...

Re: school bus turned motor home

I think RWC is a road worthiness test. Looks at lights, horn, turn signals, mirrors, etc. I did the same thing here, only it was called "have a cop come and have a cursory look at your contraption...

Hoping to take a crack at assembling the storage bins under our bus soon. Anyone have any tips to constructing these things?
We have a welder, and an assortment of the usual power tools. I bought a...

Re: Tankless waterheaters

Wasn't someone here going to make a thread about theirs? Installed, and working, but haven't heard a peep yet. Did I miss it? This is about the only water heater we could possibly afford. :D

Re: After market upgrades for 5.9

Bugger it is my thoughts.
For all the trouble and expense one would go to in order to increase "on ramp speed", how much difference could it REALLY make. This is a seriously heavy vehicle,...

Re: Slab Cab'n

Cool looking exhaust!
Are you going to paint your wheels? I have the same wheels, and can't decide whether to paint them a different color, or maybe just a shinier coat of black.

Drat, no O'Reillys by us. I have checked all the likely sources here, and can't find anything yet. We are a capitol city, but still pretty small. 8)

He has done a "few" buses by now. How many?

I am not far from you either, just up the road a bit in Lansing.

I still have to register my bus. Maybe tomorrow. 8)

Re: My new 1996 E350 World Trans Shorty

I thought the paint looked pretty good from here as is. :D Is it rusty, bubbling, or what?
FWIW, I borrowed a sprayer, and it's hands down one hundred times better than rolling. I attempted the...

Re: Flashing light removal...

I pulled the wire out to reuse elsewhere. It is some nice thick 12 gauge wire going to those lights. Too bad it is ALL green wires. No color coding at all on my bus. 8)[/quote]

What? No way it...
