Re: What colour to paint rims?

 It seems that every time I replace a micro, they last less and less time. My first micro died in a house fire. My 2nd micro/convection/grill died in a campground (low power killed it) and it...

Re: 8.3 md 3060 mpgquestion

I think it'll do better than that. My 89 BBAA with an 8.3 and a MT643 got 10.5 from AZ back to CA. it had a 4.10 rear end. That included the grape vine and hills. The 3060 is a double overdrive. ...

Re: Gas vs. diesel, which one and why?

My B700 has gas power, got 6.5MPG. My Genesis is heavier, an automatic (B700 was a 5+2), and gets 10-11. A modern gas engine (Ford V10, GM 8100) would actually work fine in a skoolie...but they...

Re: want just a bit more speed

I have 200HP, 4.11's and 11R22.5 tires...65MPH is 2100RPM. 3.55's would be WAY too tall!

Re: Jacuzzi bus - a tribute

Whoa, STOP, RIGHT NOW! You NEED to take up that plywood! If it's wet, something is wrong...I would bet you have a small hole in the (metal) floor. You need to fix it before continuing! I took my...

That looks like my brain bucket (also a full-face HJC), except mine is chartreuse with no graphics. But I never used it that way!

As you probably know by now: floor removal is one...

How old was that thing, I don't think Ford has done this for quite some time.

Re: MD 3060 transmission 6th gear

Re: Engine and Transmission Questions - looking at two busse

I respectfully disagree with this statement. Maybe you mean a school bus being used as a city school bus that never sees a freeway. But as a skoolie used for traveling, an AT545 transmission is a...

Re: School Bus to Fashion Truck

Make sure the GVWR is 26,000lbs or less, and you will NOT need a CDL. You WILL need to comply with various DOT stuff (including a medical card), but you won't need a CDL.
