My insurance agent searched all kinds of underwriters and none would insure a former school bus in Va. As soon as they run the VIN it will show as being a school bus from the factory, no matter what...

If it's registered in Va then it doesn't matter...

If it's registered in Va then it doesn't matter what other state laws are. It will be a private vehicle so commercial laws don't apply.
