Thanks for this Twigg, (Steve) as I was thinking of cribbing up something to take the weight off the ground a few inches. I have an 8 ton jack but didn't try it yet so maybe I should go a bit bigger....

How do you plan on lifting it to do the brake job?... jacks, stands, blocking, forklift? That ground may be softer than you think so maybe put pads down to.
