The window awnings on my 2022 Entegra Anthem will not fully retract. Is there a trick to get them to fully retract?

We have had dual pane windows in our RVs since 2012. Now we are considering an rv with single pane windows. Is that a deal breaker? How much difference does the dual pane make? We have dual shades to help insulting.
