Hello

I have a 1955 F500 FORD Schoolie (Superior) short bus (22ft).
It runs and drives great, sits on a 2000 Silverado Dually Chassis with a 6.0LS/4L80e. The previous owner was outfitting it for a food truck and the inside is basically empty except for 3 stainless steel tables and a sink.

I have a few technical questions for those that can help:

Windows/Glass
Steering Column

1.) I really need to do something with these ugly steelmetal window panels that have replaced the original windows. They are removable and will not be a hassle to delete, but I would like some ideas on what would make a good replacement.

- Going back with some kind of glass or poly would be a great option in my opinion and would be my preference, but is there anyone out there selling replacements or do I just make my own windows to fit and screw them in ?

- What about the back / corner glass ?

2.) The steering column in this bus is not original to the Bus, but it is a newer (ididit / chrome) column from a normal size pickup truck and it is waaay to short. It needs a newer after market column that is the right length / longer.

- What is the right length for this column and has anyone bought a newer after-market steering column that they can recommend ?

Thanks in advance for any help
Mike
