1968 4wd int 4-sale

Jeez, I'd like to have that. A little outta my price range, though. What a beauty!

I own a 1972 IH Loadstar 1700 4x4 shortbus with a 345 and a 4 speed, I would like to know how they get to 75 in it. I could do about 50 until it developed a bad rod knock from me overspeeding the engine. Even with an overdrive I don't think I could get to 75.

It has to do with the axle gear ratio. All the info I have come across says the gears are 6.17:1 or 7.17:1in theses buses. Maybe they had the axles regeared.
