1986 B60 mirrors

1986 Chevy/GMC B60

Where, what aftermarket drive mirrors (not the hood mounted ones) to get? Stock ones are gone and looking for better non-stock/aftermarket mirrors that will mount/work on my bus.

many school bus mirrors ouit there.. the newer bluebirds have mirrors that are viewable in the driver window.. I hate those type as they block pedestrian crosswalk views on left turns.. I like the old school boom mirrors..



if you have a school bus junk yard nearby that would be the first place id start as you can look at many styles.. most of them mount with large self tapping screws into the header panels astthe top and the body at the bottom..



you can also go with more modern Rosco mirrors and get things like power and heated.. (for me my bluebird has power heated mirrors and they are the best thing ever).. they will give a more modern look.. again getting them from a junkyard will be the most economical.. new mirrors and booms are sold but they are dog gone pricey new!! I get almost all my mirror stuff off junk busses..
