36 feet tip to tail on a Ford conventional should put it in the 66 passenger range. That's what my Ford-Wayne is anyway. It's too bad he didn't list more details...that doesn't seem like a bad deal. One can only hope that it's a 460 and not a 370 in that thing.

I don't know that there is anything particularly wrong with them, but a 460 would be better for a couple reasons. Most 370's also had 2 barrel carbs making them a little underpowered. Also, while the 370 shares most parts with the 460 there are a few items that are specific that might not be on the shelf at all auto parts stores. Mostly I would just rather have the 460 because it would be more powerful without sucking down appreciably more gas because they are both thirsty.

Good point about parts with a 370. We had a 370 in a two ton ford straight truck and when the fuel pump went out we couldn't get one at Napa and had to go to Boyer Ford which deals in larger trucks and parts unlike the other Ford dealers that have a bunch of cars.

Ours has a 5 speed tranny on it and I have no idea what gears it had in the rear cause it was more than 10 years ago when we got rid of it cause a clutch bolt fell out and cause the thing to lose the clutch and it blew the bell housing up. I think our top speed was about 55 give or take, but it was a good starter until it got cold out and we had to plug it in. I do still kinda miss that truck.

370

Ford made the 386 series engine in the 370, 427, and the 460. For heavy duty applications they modified the 370 and the 427 with beefier parts and harder lifters and valves I think.
The bell housings are still the same so you are able to swap in a 460.
My bus originally had the 2 barrel 370 and although I looked into getting a 460 I ended up sourcing out a 427 that I installed with a 4 barrell on it.
Now if I could only find the time to swap in a different rear end.....
