1990 Ford B700 School Bus Conversion! 7.8L Ford/Newholland turbo diesel, 5 speed manual! 171,xxx miles! Air brakes! Solar panels! Clean-Clear Title in hand. I Bought this bus in Nov. 2010 from a school district in Wisconsin that had just been discontinued it from the fleet. I converted it into a RV and drove it from Chicago to Flat Rock, NC with NO ISSUES AT ALL! Ran smooth did NOT miss a lick! All service was done before i drove down to NC, 660 miles that's all, fresh oil change, cooling system flushed and new coolant, tires all have 50% tread! and a new air filter. The bus inside has been Gutted COMPLETELY and all leaks and rust spots were fixed/grinned down and painted over. Re-insulated all the walls/ceiling/floor, then layed new floors. The inside is "done up" like a camper/house with an desk/office, 4 person kitchen table that converts into more sleep space, sitting area, kitchen and separate bedroom. All seating opens into a large amount of storage space underneath. Wood burning stove for heat. Small Window AC unit in back for cooling. Small refrigerator, small deep freezer, small stainless steel sink, 10-15 gallon water tank, plenty of cabinet space in the kitchen. Bed Room, with queen size bed and small bunk storage space above. This bus has a $2300 Solar Power system, 2 solar panels charging 2 deep cycle batteries powering a 3000 watt inverter, with "shore power" capabilities. Now the ONLY thing that this bus would need is new batteries for the motor. I think they would run $250, I will gladly help install, should only take 20 min. They have gone bad in the time i have had it parked. However, that is the ONLY thing this bus would need. I am selling this bus because of my current living situation has changed abruptly and it is time to move and I am trying to downsize my life even more.
