1992 Bluebird (Need some insight)

You need a hitch on the bus and a tow bar on your car. That's if you can tow a Prius without it being on a tow dolly. Got to be careful with front wheel drive.

I did some digging, I understand now. Mostly because of the hybrid system. I would need a dolly to lift up the front wheels. The good one's are pretty expensive!

Also, has anybody use the Wegoodlook eBay inspections! https://wegolook.com/ebay-inspections/other

I know nothing about buses but would love a mechanic on site with me when I go pick up the bus!

Thanks for all the information so far! It's been helpful! :Thanx:

You can usually pick a tow dolly for about $800. You can pick up a tow bar for probably $100 used. Measure the width of your frame and see if you can get a $20 or so heavy duty hitch from a junk yard. It takes some time to put a tow package together without spending a whole lot.

$50 will get you a tow dolly for the day at U haul. As long as you have a hitch on the bus. Will tow the Prius no problem, and won't need any towbars on the car.

BlueBird Detailsl

I'm glad someone bought that finally, I've been tempted since I saw it in person while attending an auction there.
I think it's a nice bus, I wanted rear engine though.

It's good to hear from you buddy!
The bus is coming along nicely. I just finished up this morning, gutting it. This bus is a beast, like a dangerous gorilla or some ****! Especially on the road back from Pittsburgh to Chicago..Oh what a drive...
I'm going to post more details soon with heavy pics!! I still need help and insight from the community. Not sure if I should continued the thread here or start a fresh one in the school conversion projects?
Cheers :Thanx:
