Location: east of Albuquerque NM
Engine: chevy something ( I need to check not sure what model it is)
As for more photos I will need to take some.
Mileage is 90k

I won't be back in Albuquerque till middle of June but if it's still available I'd love to take a look.

I would be interested in looking with a few more details how far east of Albuquerque are you? Is it a gas motor or a diesel motor transmission? Those kinds of things would be helpful. I will be in the area over the holiday weekend.

What are the crucial details, such as:
type of transmission?
type of brakes?
size of water tanks?
age of the bus?
has it had seats removed?
is the original school bus interior still there?
When was the last time it was driven more than 5 miles?
Thanks, and please post photos of the under side of the bus.

We are about 25 miles east from Albuquerque. It has a gas motor. No idea what the transmission is. @tguy1241 all original interior again no idea about the transmission (ask me about a Volkswagen or a foreign car and I might be able to tell you but I know little to nothing about specifics of chevys.) we drove it last spring and it has been sitting in our yard ever since. It is a 1995.i will try to post photos this week

I’m sure it would, I would recommend investment in new tires before making that trek.

I almost always get new tires on anything I get.. although my little red one had a new set when i got it.. but otherwise i just assume new tires are in the works when going n a long trek, I dont like messing around with crappy tires

The tranny on that should be a 4L80E, and the engine is most likely a 7.4L (454) gas motor. The diesel option was upgraded to the 6.5L Detroit-by-Chevy turbocharged in '93.

The chassis is a Chevy P30, and the wheelbase can fit in a single parking space if you can put the overhang on top of a parking 'island' or the back of a lot.

Thanks for adding that info albatross! I have been way too busy to go and get all of that information.

awesome!! I really wanted it but couldnt finagle a way to get there while it was available.. too many work trips going on.. I wasnt gonna be free until this coming week...
