Any known source for wiring diagrams/schematic of a 1996 International w/dt466? Also, one for the Thomas body would be a bonus. Does a 1996 International truck share the dash and forward wiring? If so, source for that?

This manual covers International Amtran bus up to 1999.
I'm sure most of the stuff should be if not the same, should be real close!

I'm looking at some of those diagrams, but what I've seen so far is way off. Is there a table of contents?

Mr. P-- is your engine a DT466, or a DT466E? I suspect the wiring would be significantly different between the two. I would love to see a wiring diagram for a plain old DT466. I have had some rodent issues....

Plain ole mechanically injected dt466.

I put my bus specs in my signature. Maybe everyone will, or the mods will let us put that info back under our avatar.

So the engine wiring for sure is 100% different...but the body wiring, should be parallel/similar.
Mechanical DT motor, starter, alternator and shut down...what other wiring would it require?

The AmTran body should be the same as Thomas?? Ford the same as Chevy as Dodge as Toyota...? :) Wire colors/circuit numbers being "similar" is zero help when needing to positively identify a wire/circuit. I looked at about 4 diagrams, and they had large differences.

Primarily, I'm looking for dash forward, so International truck could be identical.

Dash forward...ok, chassis wiring then versus body wiring...got it!

So I had posted up a dash cluster service manual. It appears to be for a mechanical engine versus electronic.
Page 24 has the wiring pinouts. Is this helpful to you and your project?

Which post is that? Do you have a table of contents?

The cluster service file, page 24 in the search, and page 24 on the photocopy page...are about cluster gauge diagnosis. Not what I want. I want the whole schematic of the chassis.

The cluster info was helpful in the fact that I learned how to remove it AND how to reset it to work with any gear ratio/tire size. Neat!

You are right.. but the pinouts should good be a good starting point in identifying your wires.
The manual you seek is out there, but you gotta pay for it so if you want it that bad....pony up.

I have tried to help the best I can... If I run into something better I'll be happy to share...
