1999 Thomas Freightliner FS65 Cat3126B No crank No start

I have a 1999 Thomas Freightliner FS65 Cat3126B with No crank No start that is random it started 3 years ago but was short lived and I would tamper with the relays behind the glove box and it would work. so I thought is wat just a bad connection. Now that does not work. with the extreme cold it has made it hard to get out and check things so with all the home i have done I have a few questions.

I do NOT have an exact wiring diagram for my model so if someone does that would be great if you would share it. Every one I have found is for later models with the exterior side panel electrical vs the one inside.

all the dash warning light work as normal but Where is the inline fuse for the ECM?

The solenoid for the induction heater was bad and put a new OEM one in but it still doesn't work so I need to check for Resistance on the element. was wondering if that had a temp sensor that might not let it start?

I'm hoping to get out in the cold to do some checking and will report back.
I do know that it does not have anything to do with the Vander lock system. Any ideas would be appreciated

On my 95, I bought one of those trigger starters, and hooked up to the two points on the starter directly to jump start it and bypass all the bad electrical.

Turn the key to the ON position, and clip on and pull the trigger. If she turns over then it's likely a fuel issue. This will bypass the vandalock system as well.

You're essentially sending the 12v signal to the starter solenoid telling the starter to turn the motor over which should send fuel and start. This method worked well for me that I made a trigger modification to start my bus by rigging a push button in my dash so I don't have to get dirty to jump start the bus. (key still has to be ON to use).

Is the gear shift in neutral? I’ve done this a couple times and it won’t unless it’s in neutral.

Yes, I did get it fixed. and then had to go away on back to back trips. we found that it was a bad connection on the starter sellinoid on the starter itself. with several lugs stacked up one was not in there tightly and was Crooked and not connecting. which created a problem for everything. pulled everything apart cleaned up. Put back together Torqued the nut. had no problem since

Sounds good. I would consider a tigger mod install too as described up above so if the issue is ever higher up in the chain you could "hotwire" start it in a jam. Will reduce your stranded times most experience in bus by half.
