2000 T444e low fuel pressure

So I swapped the new fpr and spring and piston for it. Trucks psi stayed the same sounded a little stronger but she still ran fine and got up to 60psi while wot in park and 40psi-50psi on freeway. When I took the spring and piston out, on top of the piston was like a black oring that looked broke on top and there was another sitting in the housing that came out after I cleaned it through with brake cleaner. I’m thinking it could be the fuel bowl one of the orings coulda broke but I got no air leaks outside when I had it running and was spraying soap water on all the connections outside while I had my son throttle it some so I’m still at a stump but looking more toward the fuel bowl

As for the tank I had a mechanic from Houston tell me before to drop it and check the pickup tube and when I did that the tube was good mo cracks and the tank itself was still clean cause I heard about the paint rubbing off and clogging lines. When I blew threw the pickup tube air went thru easy and bounced back some. But when everything was put back together still had the same problem with no leaks

Welp, sounds like the issue is fixed.

Good job.

And yes, that piece of rubber or O-ring could have been from a previous repair or something is coming apart but if it's running good.........

It runs good but it needs to go cross country which is my fear. When I’m on the freeway she coast at 70mph at 32psi and at idle sits at 13/14psi. I’m stumped but really need to get her back on the freeway

Yea still have low pressure that’s now consistent at those numbers since the new fuel pump was installed
