2004 DT466E ECM bolt just spins

SO, this seems to be a fairly common issue, but no clear answer on how to resolve this issue. One of the connectors came right off, the other just spins. I can tell the nut zert is just spinning in the ECM, I have tried every trick I know to get the bolt loose but no luck. I thought about drilling the head of the bolt out but I can see that there is a retainer inside the connector to hold the bolt when the ecm is removed. Will that retainer slide off the shaft with moderate pressure once the head off the bolt is removed? Or is there some other trick I haven't though of yet? If I remove the ECM and split the case can I get to the backside of the zert?

The answer to this question is yes. You can drill the head off of the bolt holding the connectors to the ECM. The connector will slide right off.
