2009 Bluebird Vision

Long time/first timer here…

I have a 2009 Bluebird Vision. I haven’t started my bus in a couple months, I’ve been working on it off and on. Today, when I turned the key, I got a “Stop!” displayed on the instrument cluster. (I didn’t try to start it or turn it over, just turned it one click.) I’ve heard Bluebirds have a list of minor things that can prevent them from starting, and I have run into a few of the more basic ones (Emergency exit locks, etc.,). I didn’t have much time to troubleshoot this evening and thought I would ask if anyone has any suggestions.

I have been working on my electrical installation, among other things, but haven’t tied into any existing systems yet.

You haven't been cutting any wires have you?

Double check all emergency exits are closed properly, open and close them to be sure.

Does the light just say "Stop!" or does it say "Stop Eng" and has an Amber "Check Eng" Light also on?

No cutting, just the standard light removal so far. It just says Stop!

I would try to click the starter anyway and see what happens..

See THIS and search for model year 2009 volume 2. See pg. 670. I would think if you check the oil and coolant level that you would be good to go for starting.
