Maxxforce DT (assuming that's actually what's in there) would be a 7.6

the EGR valves are decent on the MF DT but the EGR Coolers are known failures... parts alone are a couple grand to replace them and its a decent sized project to do it but can be done yourself

I hear the EGR delete isn't all that great of an idea either. Some have said, if you block off the EGR at the back of the engine, then you're cutting off the circulation to back of the engine so the last 2 cylinders run pretty hot and you'd never know it, or how hot since the temp gauge and sensors are at the front of the block where circulation isn't affected so the temp will continue to show normal.

Now I don't know how true that is for sure, and also don't know if that's different for differnet brand or model of engines. You'd think whoever designed the EGR delete kit would have done this homework and would have included a bypass tube of sorts to allow coolant circulation rather than just a block off plate.
