Hello, we have purchased a starcraft shuttle bus. Converting it to a camper bus. Did not need any of the "bus" electrical. Only the Ford e350 with the 5.4 liter gas engine (a 2010 model with 120,000 miles) wiring is all that is in the bus now. I was able to remove all of the "bus " wiring up too a molex plug under the drivers side at a fuse block. Since l will be doing a lot of repair (welding and cutting , l removed the fuel tank. Going to also replace fuel sending unit. The floor needed some attention. It had been a church bus in Detroit for several years. Lots of rust, but Ford frame in good shape. Sooo, after l removed all bus wiring and gas tank l decided to see if the engine would turn over. It does not sadly to say. At this time l have much to do with repairing the floor but at some point our truck engine needs to run again. This Starcraft bus could seat 9 passengers and one or possibly two wheelchairs. We will be installing a Victron system with solar. I am a new member of skoolie.net as of today July 8 2022. Yes, l should be scolded for rushing thru wire removal. I just hoped it would still start. I am humbly asking for help. Thankyou. Goofey. A childhood nickname.
