Hello,

I am currently in the process of wiring switches for electrical. I've been looking at all kinds of options but am curious what switches would be most applicable for something like this in a 12v setting? I've looked at the Niilight rocker switch panels with illuminated lights commonly found on boats which are single pole single throw but all the diagrams I've seen are for single pole double throw. Here's the panel: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B094QVLL76/ref=ewc_pr_img_2?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&th=1

Can I wire this panel and a similar prong switch together so that they both have the ability to open or close the circuit from 2 different areas in the rig? It will be a light strip that turns on or off by either switch. At what amperage would a relay be necessary? I understand how to wire a single switch to a single circuit but am not familiar with how to do it correctly for a pair on the 5 prong switches. Here's a diagram of what I am looking at. I appreciate any advice shared! Thanks.

I'm doing the same thing with two switches for the water pump- one in the kitchen and one outside. The switch you mentioned will not work. You need two "ON ON" switches. They will only have two positions (on OR on) and will need three wires between both switches. Here's the switch I'm using: www.amazon.com/RV-Designer-S335-Rocker-Switch/dp/B00T36RLOA

Here's some more info- scroll down about halfway to "How to Wire Multiple 12V Lights to a Single Switch":
