The rear. It's all preference, but behind rear axle would be my suggestion.

I put mine behind the rear wheel drivers side, i would have liked to put it in front of the rear tire, but my outdoor shower is located there.

Article 551 of the NEC, Applies to recreational vehicles and recreational vehicle parks.

"The point of entrance of a power supply assembly must meet specific requirements, which are detailed in 551.46(E). These include, for example, that it must be within 15 feet of the rear and to the left of the longitudinal center of the vehicle."

RV manufacturers & RV parks must adhear to these standards. If we follow suit, our rigs will properly align with park pedestals.
