Oh no... I only started reading his thread this last year. He seemed incredibly talented and full of creative ideas and solutions. The bus this thread is based on, it's amazing! I REALLY hope it goes to a like-minded person. Seems we lost a great man. RIP Don

RIP Don. We'll all miss you.

Amazing Grace on the bagpipes gets me right in the feels every time.

we lost an incredible man and a fantastic artist...

afterwords we were sucking down whiskey jamming to a live band in the 'REHAB' bar..

the 46 was going to be his way to spread more positive energy and share in art, and creativity.. I sure hope someone understands this and continues the journey!

Well said. Don was an amazing guy.

I was lucky enough to have met him in person, did a little work on the bus (well, mostly just stood around looking at the bus), shared a few adult beverages with him at ReHAB, and call him my friend.

Fair Winds and Following Seas my friend.

I know that Don will travel in style. His dreams were in his bus, his art car work, and his sculptures, especially at Rehab. That joint will never be the same.
He's missed by many.

ROLL ON BROTHER!

Anyone in the Houston area, there will be a memorial for Don at ReHab On the Bayou Friday October 18th. Not sure on the time.

Not sure I can make as I have another conflicting event, but I might be able to.

Hoping I can make it.. only issue is I'll be in a bus and bus parking is tough around the ReHAB.. the beautiful concrete art out back is Don's and its worth seeing!

Man this has been a rough fall. I'm gonna miss ya Don! Our visits and your help is immeasurable! HF would not be without Don's inspiration and help!
