what is the standard HP in a 2000 5.9 cummins turbo diesel in a school bus- my research showed 215 with an automatic, but I'm guessing that's for a pickup

Our tag on the engine shows 185hp.

Think you are correct as my pickup is rated 215 as well. Think 190 seems to be common on a bus.

My 2000 Freightshaker 5.9 Cummins, 5 speed Fuller is 205hp

235 hp in a truck with manual tranny..245 hp with the high output option (pickup truck)
